Freeing oneself can take time. One by one, removing things within one’s own life that does not serve you well, does not feel good anymore, or does not bring you happiness.
This journey has been excellent. Lots of learning, and growth. Seeing myself from a different perspective. Really looking at my life, my habits, where I am, where I was, trying to figure out where I’m going. There were moments of deep sadness, deep loneliness, and to be honest that scared me. But, we don’t have to be afraid of real emotions, they are there to teach us. Honour those feelings we have, be grateful for them, and listen to them.
I’m a very simple person, simple needs and wants. I find happiness in my walks, my drives, people watching, and through my Lens. Any opportunity to photograph that is all it took for me to have fun, and smile.
